Who are you going to be working with?
Don't you hate reading long histories or on-line resumes. I know I do. How about getting to the point? I am Chandler Turner, the lead consultant for Accurate Business Communications. My background gives me a unique perspective on user experience design. So, bare with me while I try to do this quickly. If you are not interested in reading this, just skip straight to calling or emailing me.
A Not-so-brief Brief but Impactful History
Thirty six (36) years in sales and marketing have taught me a great deal about communications - good and bad. I have been trained by some great corporations such as Scott Paper Company, 3M, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, and Northwestern Mutual. I am also a cum laude graduate of Old Dominion University. Go Big Blue!
I started using the techniques of neuro linguistic programming and psycholinguistics beginning in the 1970's and have continued to study and train in their applications. Recently I have been studying in the area of human cognition - how our brain receives and processes information. Understanding these disciplines helps me use them to the benefit of my clients. Like Steven Covey said, you have to "sharpen the saw". I keep it sharpened. Mission Statement
Accurate Business Communications exists to help other organizations grow more successful by showing or teaching our customers more effective ways to communicate with their prospects and clients. This will be done at a modest profit so as to be able to remain in business and realize some of our own business and personal life goals.
Change Operational Practices - Never Core Values
Highly successful people and organizations have a clearly defined set of core values - ideals such as honesty, integrity, delivery of value, and helping people from time to time even when there is no profit to be gained. Many corporations that exhibit these values have been around for over 100 years. There are two things all of them have embraced: 1) a willingness to change their daily practices many times in order to keep up with shifting markets, but 2) an unwillingness to alter their core values.
